Customer service was really poor. There is no tech faq on the site so I had to ask every thing via a support ticket. Too time consuming. The online chat person refused to answer my question and told me to use the support.

Tried to get my site up and running using servlets. I had no luck whatsoever. No problems running the site from home. Tech support isnt allowed to tell you what could be wrong and all support goes by a ticket service. Could be nice if you dont want to use servlets.

I had great experiance with them.
Mostly hosting php mySQL but Servlets and JSPs as well.
Many features such as unlimited email accounts etc certainly make this a good deal. The web based tech support is very effective

I had my java-based web site hosted in New Zealand for about a year, at $16 a month. My site is a pure Java+MySQL web site, no JSP or static HTML.
Each month, it was getting slower and slower (often more than 10 seconds to process one page).
I switched to Digital Space at $3 a month. I am just starting with this ISP and the speed is amazing: the same page is processed in 1/10th of a second, which is about the same time it takes on my PC.

I have used Digital Space to host numerous sites. I have been very pleased with their service.
Setting up php/mysql and servlets was simple. I had no problems.
To respond to a previous post, they do have a FAQ on their site.
I have always sent them support requests through their website. I have always received an email reply within 24 hours, except I think around holidays. I have always been satisfied with their responses.
