This ISP does not support servlets or JSP. However they do allow java applications to be run on their server.

Clarification

I'm investigating them for a project now and discovered that despite what the site says server side java requires a "virtual dedicated server" at $80/mo. But that comes with full root ssh access, a lot of bandwidth, storage and other goodies. No servlet container is included - but you can install whatever you'd like.

They have no control over servers that they themselves do not own. They claim to be 24 hr yet are never available. Outages are every other day!

Although Liquid Web does not support servlets on the entry level plans, the more advanced Virtual Dedicated and Dedicated plans give you total freedom over what you want to run.

Liquid Web has recently built their own datacenter and owns 100% of both the datacenter and the servers in it. Past problems were due to being co-located. These problems have completely vanished, as we now have immediate access to all hardware and 24/7 phone support. If you'd like to know more, please contact me directly at (800) 580-4985 x228. I'll be happy to assist you in any way and address any of your concerns. Thanks.
