Today I built and made available JDOM Beta8 Release Candidate #1. The list of improvements over Beta7 (as recorded in CHANGES.txt) is astounding.
This isn't the formal Beta8 release. It's intended for people to upgrade against so they can identify any showstopper issues before the final release. If you're using JDOM, get the RC1 from jdom.org.
